Pvt. Ransom P. Plyler

My great-grandfather Ransom P. Plyler and 2 of his brothers enlisted at the Lancaster County , South Carolina , Courthouse during the Civil War . He served in Co. "I" , 12th. South Carolina Infantry and was wounded during the Wilderness Campaign . He is buried in Ebenezer Cemetary in Nevada County , Arkansas . He has a monument with a symbol on it that I
think might be the Southern Cross . If anyone has info. about the 12th. S. C. Infantry I would appreciate your help . I see
a lot of other units talked about , but not much about this unit . Thanks
