The second man follows and it sounds like he says he was “bodyguard” to Confederate Generals John Marmaduke and Joe Shelby. I believe these 2 photos to be of the same Man ? He still has his bugle ! The photo that shows him literally being held upright is supposed to be from the 1930's. He had to be up in years ! I'm wondering if someone might be know something about the old gentleman.
