Michigan officer of USCT buried in Massachusetts.

I am trying to find the grave of Chauncey Bassett, 73rd USCT - killed on the steamer City Belle on the Red River in May, 1864. Born in Lee Massachusetts. moved to Allegan, Michigan and enlisted in the 6th Michigan before he became colonel of the 73rd. I believe he was buried in or near Lee, Massachusetts but can not find any way to confirm this. Any help will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged in a possible publication using the information. Thank you very much. If I can obtain a photograph of the headstone or marker, that would be great.
