There's an amazing book about the Weatherford line. William Weatherford, His Country and His People by Lynn Hastie Thompson ( Lavender Publishing Company in Bay Minette, Alabama). I bought it years ago because there's a lot on my husbands Stiggens line. If you have ancestors names Jamie, I'll look to see if they're in here. There are Gen. charts in the back with many allied surnames. This one book has been well worth the 50 dollars I paid for it in stories and family info.
There are quite a few websites on the Weatherford history too.
