Trinkets
Yes, there is pretty good evidence that some sort of trinkets (Rings) were made from Douglas' bones. Or perhaps what was said to be Douglas' bones. And yes, these trinkets must have been made by the Yankees. I cannot imagine the Confederates have time or inclination or market for such trinkets. The Confederates were busy with other things.
