What happened to Douglas' Remains.
It has been written on various Internet sites that Douglas' Remains,
after he was killed,
was eaten by the Confederates and, yes,
Sites state that he was eaten by the Yankees.
I have seen no hard evidence of what happened to Douglas' .
(Yes, I agree that he was most probably eaten by the Starving Confederates,
I cannot imagine anything otherwise.)
Almost certainly he was not eaten by the Yankees as has been reported for many reasons.
I have tried, since the beginning, to downplay and not stress, the idea that Douglas was Eaten.
I have seen no hard evidence of what happened him.
