M. J. Hendricks from the 27th MS, Company K, Confederate pension filed in Scott County, Arkansas, on 5-8-1893. September the 19th or 20th, 1863, in the Battle of Chickamauga gunshot wound to right hand and lost two fingers, and also wounded on the left side of head and burned in the eyes from explosion of shell.
