I think we agree we have Two Carradines with records mixed and garbled.
B F Carradine was over around Canton and had something to do with a hosptial

Young Beverly Carradine, 16 years of age was between Yazoo County and somewhere in North Mississippi. Thus, he would not have had much of a record, regardless.

Wood's Company is very hard to track.
Among other things, began as 1st Mississippi Cavalry, soon became known as Wirt Adams Regiment, after Vicksburg became Wood's Regiment, and I am sure known by other names. In addition, it appears the various companies were broken up and scattered about, one finds reports in the OR signed by the various Captains.
