Phillip, Private, Company A, 6th Mississippi Regiment, reported missing from the engagement at Baker’s Creek, Miss., May 16, 1863, reported absent, sick on June 30, 1865, subsequently present at all bi-monthly musters through August, 1864 after which no further Company A muster rolls survived to be incorporated in these records
