I have found a Daniel Phillip on a list of missing soldiers through fold3.com. I believe this person to be Daniel Phillips from Rankin County, MS as it does not appear he ever came home from the war and several of his siblings named some of their offspring after him. I would like to know if you can tell me where he was fighting when he was listed as missing or if you might have a record of where he may have been buried. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I do have the book by Grady Howell, Bloody 6th.
