Thanks for the info, acording to family history (the story I heard since I was a child) was the army came through and rounded up all the young men and the went off to fight at Shiloh, that's where it was thought he lost his leg, I have a copy of a news paper article that was written by Cassie Gillentine a long time ago that told this also. I also have a picture of him with his wooden leg and if I could figure out how to attach these I will
