The family was from Woodville Miss.if that helps.His Aunt was Caroline Scott Gibbes wife of Robert Wilson Gibbes Surgeon General of South Carolina . They were my great great grandparents.I just wanted to put a unit with the belt plate and portrait .I know that most of the records are gone .If he did die of disease in a camp somewhere at age 19 as we were told he may not even be on a muster roll .Thanks n Be Blessed
