Any idea what Confederate units fought at the Battle of Iuka? My great great grandfather was born and raised in Iuka, served in the US Army from 1855-1860, and joined Co. K, 26th MS Inf. in Iuka, but his records don't show that his unit fought in the battle of their hometown. I have a list of all of his engagements, but Iuka was never mentioned. I thought it odd.
