Very interesting. I stumbled across this company in Jo Anne Eakins Eight Vol. Set of UDC records for Missouri. According to my count at least sixty of the men who served in Co. C, 12th Miss Infantry turn up in Missouri afterthe war with many of those in St. Louis.
