On Mar 20, 1865, this regiment was consolidated with Ashcraft's and Ham's Cavalry Regiments to become the 11th Mississippi Cav (consolidated). This command served in Chalmers's Division during the last campaign in Alabama. Armstrong received a parole at Columbus MS as a member of consolidated Co "K".
