It appears that the unit ID is incorrect and should read 2nd Mississippi State Cavalry as indicated in George's post. Adolphus and Albartus were brothers according to on-line family trees. Looks like one or two other brothers may have served. Will have to check on John Langdon Armstrong and Rufus L Armstrong.
