Ron, the William R. Moore that Jeannie mentioned at the beginning of this thread has a headstone with his DOB and DOD along with his company listed on the stone. When I get a chance I'm going to take a photo of that and send to you and Jeannie. I have been grooming that area around him, even planted a tree next to him, asking if anyone knew anything and finally the doors are being knocked open about him and his family, thanks to this site and Jeannie asking some questions. Jeannie tells me his wife and a un-named grandbaby is buried out there with no headstone. My goal is to get the family, Moore's and Flowers, to see if they want to find where they are in the field and get a headstone in place. Also, I think Wm R. Moore's old homeplace is still standing (in fair shape) about 150 yards from where he is buried. I need to ask Jeannie about that homeplace and the history behind it. The work by Cupit on the Flowers family was very well done and add another angle about these families and the times they were going through.
