I've gathered a lot of information about him, but I just can't pin down where he grew up. I'm trying to learn more about how soldiers in the Enterprise Tigers were recruited, to get a better understanding of where he might have come from. Can anyone suggest how I could learn about recruitment for the Enterprise Tigers and the other companies in the 37th Mississippi Infantry?
