Hello Everyone,
My name is Rachel and I am doing a project and a Confederate soldier who died in the Battle of Vicksburg. The soldier's name is B.L. Avery and he was in the 37th Mississippi Infantry Company E. He died on June 28, 1863 and is buried at Vicksburg National Cemetery. I am assuming his rank was a private because no other was posted. If anyone has any information on him or his unit, I would love to hear it! Thank you.
