The drummers, fife players, and other musicians were a very important part of the Regiment.

Trust me, ... the experts on the 7th Mississippi have responded to your questions about your Great Grandfather.

I have no doubt that your question has filled in a small piece of the jigsaw puzzle about the 7th Miss. Vols.

I'm willing to bet your post will also (eventually) fill any gaps that may exist within your family history ( and ours) .
