Tom, just about three weeks ago Virgil Roberts and I walked up on a Temples CSA gravesite in Amite County. I remember this because we mentioned you and your devotion to finding the grave of Needham Temples. Anyway, don't hold me to this but I believe the name on the grave was "William Temples". I do know Powers Regt. had quite a few Amite County men enlisted so this may be worth your time running down.

I am sorry I can't remember the name of the cemetery but if I recall correctly we were near the East Fork community. Virgil is working overseas but I'll try to get in touch with him and see what he remembers. Meanwhile maybe a search of Amite County graves is the key.
