Starke, some where in our family papers I have a hand copy of a newspaper article from the Carrol Volunteer written about the Co. K of 11th reg. during the Seven Days Battle Before Richmond. It mentioned the then Capt. of Co. K taking 30 prisoners in the morning and later Lt. Bird taking 20 more prisoners in the afternoon. It listed causalities for Co. K as well. Given your research, I will assume you have seen this; if not, I'll try to find it and send a copy it to you.
