Texas Monument Dedication at Rose Hill Cemetery, Meridian, MS on June 27, 2010. Texas UDC Division will place and dedicate monument to honor the six Texas Confederate soldiers who died in Meridian in 1862/1863 and are buried in a mound in the Rose Hill Cemetery with other Confederate soldiers. Rose Hill Cemetery is located on 7th Street and 40th Avenue, Time: 2:00pm. The public is invited to attend.
