Hi. I am trying to discover who is responsible for maintaining the Rose Hill cemetery Confederate monument. I would like to get my gggrandfather's name added to the memorial. My gggrandfather died from wounds received at Cornith, Mississippi at the Confederate Hospital in Meridian and is "Probably buried in Rose Hill cemetery." (Source: Confederate records at the National Archives.) He served with the 55th Alabama when he was wounded then died.
