Images presented on the Internet are usually reduced in digital quality so as to speed loading when someone views the image online. These website images usually do not reproduce well in print. Also, permission is still needed to copy images from a website and use them in any fashion other than as personal research notes.

The Fort Delaware Society would appreciate getting a good quality digital scan of an image of John Tisdale Newman with the permission of all involved including the family member who owns the original images to display on our Photo Display Board. We would like to have some idea of what he looked like when a POW at Fort Delaware, but will be happy with a good image of him taken at any time in his life.
