Oh, I'm not sure I can help you then. The information I have is only for Mississippi pensions, not Alabama. Did you get it from the Mississippi State Archives or the Alabama Archives? I will tell you that the "class" information for MS pensions doesn't really mean much. It just designates what type of pensioner they are: soldier or sailor, widow, servant, etc. It is broken down further but I don't remember exactly how, length of service maybe. I'd have to look it up.
