Maxine,Tippah County,MS. had many soldiers that proudly "volunteered" in the Confederate Army.....there is website that is very informative about its boys.....there are articles from the old newspaper,Southern Sentinal, that make excellent reading.Tippah Confederates or something like that.....going to look it up and post for you.You may be already aware of it......Frank
