Thanks to everyone for all your hard work...... still don't think any of these are the William Temple/s that I am looking for. He should have been born in about 1814. Ours would have been the father of Needham Temples that also is missing from any Civil War records after 1862, that cousin Tom Temple is searching for. Didn't realize that our William could have been in the war til I found that name in the 7th. And we have been told that he might have been from Amite County Ms.
