A short biography of Isaac Benjamin Littleton appears in an issue of "The Chronicles of Oklahoma", which is the official publication of the Oklahoma Historical Society. Census records show that he was living in Attala County, Mississippi in 1860, and in Carroll County, Mississippi in 1870 and 1880. The above biography states that he moved to Texas in 1882 before later moving to the Indian Territory and the Oklahoma Territory.
