My ancestor PVT Elias Whiddon was killed by a sharpshooter on May 20, 1863, probably near the Stockade Redan. He was with Co I, 38th. I have a copy of Jeff's book and treasure it. Also, Jim please let me know when the book on Old Douglas is due out.
