Re: Jackson's Brigade at Mufreesboro

On 31 December 1862, Jackson's brigade along with Adams' brigade of Breckinridge's division was ordered to the west side of Stone's River where it participated in an unsucessful attack to dislodge the enemy from the Round Forest. The brigade remained in the "Cedar Brake" on the south side of the Nashville Pike until the early morning hours of 3 January when it was ordered back to the east side of the river where it took up a position between Hanson's and Anderson's brigade.

Any information you might like to share on Jackson's brigade at Murfreesboro/Stone's River would be much appreciated.
