As to Cleaveland Disease, it couldn't be anything but that because the report says that he died of Cleaveland Disease. I have searched many places and can find nothing which identifies the sickness.

Thanks to you and everyone else on the site who has helped me! I love this site and will understand what happened to my ancestor a lot better because of it.
