Alan, I rechecked my records on my GG,Grandfather, George W. Williamson, Co. H, 36th Miss. and on the pension application his wife applied for in 1909, she said that he was discharged at Ship Island, not captured there. My mistake. She said that he served until the end of the war. I have his service record and the last card in his file is dated April 1864 when he received clothing. I assume he served until the end from the pension application, but never saw a final roster as I have on other of my ancestors. Dewey
