Fort Adams site monument

I'm trying to locate some information about the monument or landmark that's located where the actual civil war site was over looking the Mississippi River. I can remember I went on a trail ride on our horses and the older gentleman heading up the ride brought us to where the landmark was still standing some where in the tunica hills. It was built in a strategic point along the river where it makes a curve which enabled them to see along both ways up and down the river. Anyway, this was some time ago but the monument should still be standing and I'd like to bring a friend to let him see it but I forgot how to get there. I do remember however that the only way to get there was on horse back. I would appreciate it if anyone has any knowledge about this landmark and can tell me how to get back to it. Thanks!
