Thanks for your reply. Some American corporations have stores in the United Kingdom and Europe. I was wondering if Barnes and Noble, who markets my book, has an outlet in London or other cities in England. If they do, it should have a website on your internet system, I would think. Otherwise, my book can be ordered through the international internet website: barnesandnoble.com -- Just look up/select-- Civil War on the Missouri-Kansas Border and the book should come up, or choose Donald L. Gilmore, and the book should come up also.
I'm very pleased to have Englishmen participating in our Civil War websites in America. You will doubtless provide us with a more neutral, less politicized evaluation of our history. History, as you likely know, has a highly political nature to it. Many people confuse history with science, where there is only one right answer. In history, you have to evaluate interpretations by being as honest as possible and allowing for your political bias. Those who propose that they are giving you the gospel truth and without error are usually the most misguided and arrogant.
