Hi there. I am looking for a Willie Bowen also. I am a descendant of a Willie Bowen that we can't find much more information about except the family story of him having riden with Jesse James. Our Willie was half Cherokee Indian and married a woman named Clara Christian. We don't know who his parents were. His youngest child (that we know of) past away last week. Willie left when she was one year old. We are trying to trace the Bowen line and I would love to compare notes to see if we are looking for the same guy and can fill in the blanks.
