Personal recollections of Sue Mundy Womacks and Molly Clay coincide with reporting of Nan Harris Lilley's sister that 9 women (children really as none were older than 20) were held. What is missing is any with the last name of Wyatt. All nine were directly or indirectly related to each other and families with strong guerrilla connections. There remains still the question of whether the building fell due to age and disrepair or whether it was helped by soldiers undermining a basement wall. In any case, during this period where "honor" still held some small sway, the idea of locking up 10 to 14 year old females to get to grown men combatants would certainly raise a reaction. It did, mission accomplished.
