The Missouri in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Photographers of the Guerrillas

Thank you so much for responding Dr. Russell. I visit the Cantey/Myers site quite often - what an absolutely fantastic collection. I am intrigued with the old photographs but more so with the photographers who took the pictures. Working on yet another database of the artists - if only for my benefit. I love the research and am very involved with genealogy searches. I am also a bit partial to the Missouri guerrillas as my family roots are up around Howard and Randolph counties in Missouri. Little Dixie!

I appreciate your addressing my user name - never quite thought it would be a problem as I have used it continuously since around 1995 when I set up an account with ebay. That was back in the day when you could print off everything on ebay in about 20 pages and set down and look it over. No pictures at that time, you could buy old guns, and generally could get some killer deals without worrying about fakes and reproductions. Times sure have changed.

Will consider changing my user name if allowed to do so but till then watch for me under my alias, wwwamericana.

Best regards,
wwwamericana (aka Judy Pilley)
