According to his record, following his capture at the battle of Corinth October 3 & 4, 1862,
he was on the list of the paroled Confederate Prisoners, wounded, and nurses, delivered
at Iuka, Miss. to Surgeon J. B. Bond, C. S. Army .

This list was dated October 19, 1862.

Subsequently, he is recorded as having died at Iuka, Miss.
