My great great uncle, Sgt Thomas Strother Elkin, 3rd Mo Cav Bttn, was wounded at Corinth, October 4, 1862, lost his leg, fell into Federal hands, and "since died" according to military records. But I can't locate his grave. If you could help that would be great.
