Please see previous post titled James Martin Hensley for additional info. There is anecdotal information which suggests James Martin "Mart" Hensley's family were southern in their leanings as were many if not a majority of Schuyler Co. citizens during the war. One individual previously stated they had information showing he was in Co. G MSG 3rd Reg. 3rd Div. However, they could not provide the source of this information. I sincerely appreciate the time and effort any of you may provide in assisting me in my attempt to place James Martin "Mart" Hensley during the war.
