For a geographic reference or two:
The area referenced is on the south border of the west part of Iron County, bordering northern Reynolds County. Brushy Creek is a tributary of the Middle Fork of Black River. Barton is a locally common name in that area, nearest identifiable town is Oates; there is a Barton Cemetery nearby. North of Brushy Creek is Strother Creek, another tributary of the Middle Fork of Black River. Along Strother Creek is a Trolinger Cemetery at 37.593N by 91.046. Flowing in from the north is Neals Creek, a tributary of Strother Creek. About 2 miles NE of Trolinger Cemetery is Stricklin Cemetery on Neals Creek. So the site is identifiable anyway. All of these areas are SW of Highway 49 and N of J.
