A recent entry I found in the UDC records lits a Captain Theodore Duncan of Colonel J. G. Hughes command, he is listed as having died Blue Mills. No other information. I suspect this was in the summer of 62 and the Blue Mills east of Independence and not Blue Mills landing in Clay county and that is where I may well be wrong in either case. A little guidence would be nice. Doing some research on Blue Mills east of the Little Blue.
