Info on the two bodies found in the road after the fight on 7/16/1864, 3 miles south of Huntsville was found on the listing for the "Penn Cemetery". Not but a 1/2 dozen ID'd person's buried there, no markers but field stones. Property was still in the Penn family as late as 1882. T53/R15/Sec18, NW 1/4 & SW1/4.....Have been unable to locate yet, but still seeking ID on the "two bodies" ...Can't think that anyone would have left there dead......Need info on 4th Missouri State Militia and possibles........46 EMM was local unit and nothing about there losing any men. Word is partisans came into area and were telling folks to stay indoors, there was going to be a fight. My guess, MIA's for one side or the other captured afterwards and shot later and left in the road as a jester or warning.....Anyone have direct access to Fayette or Macon newspaper micro-film for that time frame.......still guessing........Neil
