I believe you do have the correct family lines. Private Prentice Elliot Cordrey's story, and those of his forebears and descendants, was published in "Descendants of Virginia, Kentucky, and Missouri Pioneers" by Eugene Allen Cordry, 1973. The book may be out of print, I don't know. I have a copy, since some of my family from Virginia and Cooper County MO, the Ganders, are in it also. Please let me know if I can be of further help.
