The Missouri in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Jefferson Barracks Hospital Records

When I went back and checked my research of several years ago, I found an official record of Sanford A. Defries, who enlisted Feb.24, 1864 in Kansas City or Warrensburg, Mo in the "2cd (New) Reg't Art. Wols. Died of typhoid fever Dec. 16,1864,at Jefferson City, Missouri. Buried Jefferson City, Mo. National Cemetery" So I am satisfied of these facts. But thanks for answering my quety. I am doing research on the Defries family and Charles Crittenden Coleman. Ellen Forrest
