Does anyone know anything about the Union 6th La. (Colored) regiment? I think it was a 60-day unit around July 1863. I was asked if I could find information on a Pvt. Martin Lamotte, who was in it. I found Lamotte in Booth's Records but it is for his service in the original Confederate Native Guards. Thanks.
