louise myrthe bringier taylor

Much info. available on husband Lt. Gen. R.S.Taylor and little on his wife. In the ever going on's of war, too many times people forget the home front was a war as well. After Fashion Plantation was destroyed presumably Louise Marie Myrthe Bringier Taylor, 'Mimi" and the children returned to Hermitage (Bringier)Plantation. But in 1862 the war was near...One source I located stated that as the Union forces departed Vermilionville for the 4.1863 advance up bayou Teche Gen. Taylor's family was living in a rented home at Washington , La.,and because of Union advancements,Taylor made preparations for the family to be moved to Natchitoches.
One source I found stated in 5.1853 she took (4 children...the last one was born in 1864) the children to Natchitoches by steamboat from Alexandria and, as a result, somewhere between Alexandria-Natchitoches, aboard a riverboat, the 2 boys, Zachary, age 5, and Richard ,age 2, contracted yellow fever and died shortly upon arrival at Natchitoches .
Another source states Zachary died 4.27.63 -Caddo- Shreveport,La., and Richard died 5.20.1863- Caddo -Shreveport,La. .
My questions are... # 1- Was Gen Taylor with his wife at Shreveport on 4.27.63 ,or,5..20.63 ?
#2- Did the Taylor family rent a home in Washington, La.,at any time during the civil war, and if so, which one ?
#3-Louise "mimi" died in New Orleans 3.16.1875, age 41...did she die of yellow fever as well?
Taylor children:

Louise Margaret b 1.1852
Zachary b. 6.1860
Richard b. 6.1860
Myrthe Bianca b nov.29.1864 m. Isaac H Stauffer
