Re: louise myrthe bringier taylor

Per Richard Taylor, Soldier Prince of Dixie by T. Michael Parrish, page 480:
Upon returning to the US in August 1874, Taylor met his wife, Mimi, at Niagara Falls for a vacation of several weeks. When they returned to New Orleans in the fall, Mimi fell gravely ill with a fever. In March, Mimi's strength declined rapidly, and on the sixteenth she died. She was barely 41 years old. "My devoted wife was relieved from her suffering, long and patiently endured, originating in the grief for the loss of her [two young sons] and exposure during the war," Taylor recalled. Mimi was buried in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.
