It was the Louisiana Seminary of Learning and Military Academy in Pineville. I believe the building was destroyed by the Yankees during the Red River Campaign and burned again after the war. The school was moved to the Pentagon Barracks area in Baton Rouge about 1869. It was later named LSU and moved to its present campus.
